an Indonesian born who's now residing in Sydney, Australia. Pursuing his interest in arts throughout his year 12 of high school and decided to take the tertiary level of study at Design Centre Enmore (DCE) taking the 2 years of "Diploma of Graphic Design and Communication" course.
He began to love and exploring the traditional art of the people of Java which is known as "Batik". Trying to bring batik into the International art world by re-mixing it with modern touches.

in January the 1st of 2011, Zen began a self-motivated art project which was known as "Three Sixty Five Drawings One Year" Where he was self-challenged to create and publish a drawing each day til the end of 2011 to gather 365 drawings.
In February 2015, Zen began a new project called
#backtobatik which depicts the art of Batik through influential faces around the world.
